I am getting extremely frustrated at this point as I can't seem to get the "word" out about our boy. I've tried the local paper (to run a story), the local news station, even TLC all to no avail. Flyers don't seem to get much of a response either. (I'm hoping Janine's letter to the editor will appear REAL soon.) It just doesn't seem to reach anyone who has seen him or fed him, or they just don't respond. SOMEONE else has got to be feeding him, unless something bad has happened, as this is the longest he has gone without showing himself to me. I am worried.
He did not return to eat yesterday and I removed his food from the trap at approximately 5 p.m. I was determined to set the trap this morning, and I did. We purchased a nice roasted chicken from the food store (of course I removed it from the bone), heated up some macaroni and cheese, cut up some good smelling liverwurst and some vienna sausages. It smelled...well let's just say it smelled. My dogs were hopeful as their noses enjoyed smelling the aromas, but it was not to be their breakfast. Sorry!
I placed the steaming aromatic plate full of goodies inside the trap and set it...and now I wait...and I hope...and I pray.
