Who knows...

Well I made a mistake yesterday...I forgot to clean up the uneaten food. That means it was left in his area over night which is something I don't like to do. Obviously since we live at the base of a mountain, I run the risk of feeding something that I don't want to feed if I leave it over night, but...I had a meeting and forgot. This has happened on two other occasions over the past months and both times to my surprise it wasn't eaten by morning. However this morning the plates were clean, and still inside the trap, so I really don't know if Teddy came by early or something else had a nice meal, but I don't want that to happened often. I enjoy the wildlife on the mountain and that's just where I want them all to stay...on the mountain. They can visit me once in awhile, but not for dinner.

Any way, I took up another full plate this morning and placed it inside the trap. I didn't see him this a.m. but I had errands to run so I wasn't watching. At 5:30 p.m. I visited his area and discovered the food dish still full. Disappointed I removed the food and planned on tomorrow. I hope he comes back, something is going on. Whether it be someone else feeding him or something /someone chasing him, or something keeps happening as this once consistent visitor has taken to taking a hiatus now and then. To my way of thinking if he is hungry, he would return as he as always done. Of course I still don't know what had him barking two mornings in a row either. I can only hope and pray that nothing bad has happened to him and he will return, so I can try once again to fill the trap with yummy stinky food and attempt to capture him.
